BTS: 2025 VIPS Holiday Card

This year, we asked our VIPS kids to create snowflakes for our 2025 holiday card. The results were amazing. We’re sorry to say we couldn’t include every submission, but we’d like to share them here for you so everyone can appreciate the hard work that went into each and every one. Read on for the gallery.

We expanded on the tactile element this year by embossing the snowflakes on the card’s cover. It’s a hard technique to photograph, but there’s an example below of a few of the embossed snowflakes. The results are wonderful and make for a more accessible experience.

Milestone Monday — Dallas

Dallas’s mom really wanted him to be able to play independently. During a recent visit, we explored several switch options that would activate a toy. After a few attempts, he got the hang of it and was able to activate the switch on his own! The smile says it all! Way to go Dallas! We are so proud of you!

Daniel Tiger to Visit Indy FRC

VIPS Indiana Families! You are invited to read, write, talk, and play with Daniel Tiger at the VIPS Family Resource Center in Indianapolis. Please join us on Saturday, July 18 , from 9:30 to 11:30 am. You’ll meet Daniel Tiger, create crafts, and read during storytime. Activities will be adapted for all children and abilities, including those with blindness or low vision. Accommodations for those with sensory issues will be utilized. Snacks will be provided, and free parking available. LIMITED SPACE. Only 20 spots for children are available. Thank you to WFYI and PBS Kids for making this event possible.

Day of Giving Kickoff Cookout

Just Announced! Please Join Us for a Day of Giving Kickoff Cookout on June 11 from 11 am to 1 pm at 1906 Goldsmith Lane. We’ll have burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, chips, and soft drinks.
