VIPS Leadership Team Expands

May 13, 2024

We have some exciting news to share! Our VIPS Leadership Team has changed and we added a new member. Justine Aycock, previously Assistant Director of Development has been promoted to Director of Development and Meredith Howell, previous Director of Development has now become the Director of Community Outreach and Advocacy–concentrating on our Indiana efforts. Kelly Easton will remain Director of Community Outreach and Intake–concentrating on our Kentucky efforts. This change will fill a void in our organizational structure in Indiana and we are thrilled. Meredith’s efforts are best utilized in the realm of advocacy and outreach where she will continue as our legislative liaison and growth across the state of Indiana. Justine is the perfect person, trained under Meredith, to assume the development directorship because of her two degrees in philanthropy and wealth of experience. We are also thrilled to announce that Christina Welsh has been promoted to Director of Finance from her previous role of Controller.

We think these changes are a huge win for VIPS! We are #VIPSstrong!

Dallas’s mom really wanted him to be able to play independently. During a recent visit, we explored several switch options that would activate a toy. After a few attempts, he got the hang of it and was able to activate the switch on his own! The smile says it all! Way to go Dallas! We are so proud of you!
