- Weekly Opportunities:
- Classroom volunteers
- PAL Class (Play And Learn) Wednesdays
- 9:30 am - Noon
- Classroom volunteers
- REACH Class (Rewarding Experiences and Activities for Children)
- Fridays, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm *during the school year
- Summer Enrichment Camps during the summer months
- Office Assistance
- Miscellaneous copying, filing, etc.
- Monthly Opportunties:
- Make tactual greeting cards for VIPS children (birthday, get well & Welcome to VIPS)
- Annual Special Events:
- VIPS/KFC Golf and Tennis Tournament,
- Family Retreat - * Respite care provided, childcare, kids camp
- Texas Roadhouse Stampede for VIPS,
- Governor's Cup Classic - Golf Tournament,
- Holiday Letter Solicitation (approx. 4,000) mailing,
- Assist with Halloween, Christmas, and Easter parties as needed
- Miscellaneous, throughout the year:
- Assemble and create "Welcome Bags" for new VIPS families, (instructions provided)
- Assemble story book boxes for VIPS children (instructions provided)
- Make specific items for children as specified by VIPS Teachers such as:
- (coloring screens, computer paper box desks, etc.)
- Assist with bulk mailings as needed
- Yard work - re-mulching, weeding, planting, etc.
