Children, Three to Five Years
VIPS provides services to blind, visually impaired, and multi-disabled children who are preschool age through contract with local public school systems. These and other services for this group include:
- Assessment
VIPS staff conduct learning media assessments, functional vision assessments, and O&M assessments as needed.
- Direct Intervention & Preschool Consultation (through
contract with local schools)
VIPS provides direct intervention in the preschool classes where VIPS children are enrolled, as well as consultation to preschool staff.

- Summer Enrichment
Each summer, VIPS offices offers summer enrichment sessions tailored to children?s specific needs to prevent loss of skills over the summer.
